ŠAVORIĆ & PARTNERS ARE SHORTLISTED FOR TWO “2022 DEAL OF THE YEAR“ AWARDS

Šavorić & Partners has been shortlisted not only for one, but for two Deal Of The Year 2022 awards by CEE Legal Matters.

Our involvement in the EUR 500 million investment deal in electric supercar maker Rimac Group, where we acted for SoftBank and Goldman Sachs, has been shortlisted for the “2022 Deal of the Year for Croatia” award by CEE Legal Matters. It is important to note that this is the largest investment in Rimac Group to date, as well as in any Croatian startup or scaleup.

The transaction where Allegro acquired 100% of Mall Group and WE I DO CZ has been shortlisted for the CEE Legal Matters “2022 Deal of the Year for Poland”. The acquired business comprises the e-commerce assets of Mall Group and the logistics assets of WE I DO based in Croatia as well.

To remind, Allegro, the most popular shopping platform in Poland and one of the world’s top ten e-commerce websites, acquired shares of Mall Group and WE I DO CZ from the selling shareholders PPF, EC Investments, and Rockaway Capital for EUR 881 million.

The Deal of the Year award is an annual celebration of those lawyers and law firms that have brought the deals that level up Central and Eastern Europe. Winners will be announced at the Annual CEELM Deals of the Year Banquet in Istanbul, April 2023.
