STUDENAC ACQUIRED ŠPAR TRGOVINA

Studenac acquired the Croatian retail chain Špar Trgovina which operates 40 stores in Bjelovarsko-Bilogorska, Koprivničko-Križevačka and Zagrebačka counties. Moreover, this acquisition will strengthen Studenac’s presence in continental Croatia.

Since the takeover in 2018 by Enterprise Investors PE, Omiš-based Studenac has been expanding its network in Croatia through M&A, bringing the total now to 1200 stores in more than 500 locations.

This acquisition confirms Studenac’s position as the leading retail chain by the number of stores in Croatia.
