ŠAVORIĆ & PARTNERS PART OF THE FIRST LEGAL HACKATHON “LEGALHACK 2021“

The first legal hackathon in Croatia and in this part of Europe was organised by student association Meritokrat.

The LegalHack hackathon is a combination of law and technology in the form of a three-day competition in which participants were legally guided for the development of new technology and answers to the challenges it brings.

As representatives of our firm, partner Mia Lazić, senior associate Sandra Tomašković and associate Martin Hren, participated as panellists, mentors and jurors. Hackathon was completely online, allowing participation from anywhere in the world. Under the slogan Artificial Intelligence through the eyes of law, the task was “AI in the health service” and the teams aimed to develop an innovative and creative regulatory solution for the application of artificial intelligence in health care with the aim of improving the health system.
