MIDEUROPA ACQUIRES OPTIKA ANDA

MidEuropa, a leading UK-based private equity investor, has signed a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire a majority stake in Optika Anda, the largest optical retail chain in Croatia and one of the leading independent players in Southeast Europe.

Šavorić & Partners acted as lead legal advisor to MidEuropa.

This acquisition builds on MidEuropa’s proven track record in healthcare and retail and represents an important milestone for Optika Anda. The investment will support Optika Anda’s next phase of growth through continued expansion in Croatia, as well as targeted international growth across Central and Southeastern Europe, with a strong focus on operational excellence, digitalisation and strategic acquisitions.

Founded in 1999, Optika Anda operates a nationwide network of 64 stores and employs more than 300 professionals, positioning it as a key platform for further regional consolidation in the optical retail and healthcare services sector.
