Investing in Times of Uncertainty

The American Chamber of Commerce in Croatia and the leading CEE focused private equity fund Enterprise Investors organized an executive panel on the topic of investing during Covid-19 times of uncertainty.

Private equity and venture capital play key role in economic growth and contribute to job creation. The goal of private equity is to support more businesses to achieve their ambitions for growth by providing the financial firepower and strategic advice in critical stages of their development.

Senior and Managing Partner Boris Šavorić talked about legal solutions and how the investors and the sellers in M&A transactions should mitigate the risks of transaction, valuation, material adverse changes or withdrawals from the deals due to 2020 being a one-off year due to Covid-19.

Enterprise Investors is one of the largest private equity firms in Central and Eastern Europe. Active since 1990, the firm has raised nine funds with total capital exceeding EUR 2.5 billion. These funds have invested almost EUR 2 billion in 144 companies across a range of sectors and exited 134 companies with total gross proceeds of EUR 4.1 billion.
